Bitter cold air to move in this weekend
The National Weather Service has issued a Cold Weather Advisory to go into effect from midnight, December 12, 2025, to noon Saturday.
They say very cold wind chills as low as 25 below 0 are expected over east central, south central, and southeast Wisconsin during that time frame.
The weather service added that wind chills as low as 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes and that those going outdoors should wear appropriate clothing, as well as a hat, and gloves.
While not issued as of now, it’s likely a Cold Weather Advisory will be issued Saturday night as well. Stay tuned to KFIZ.com for up to date weather advisories.
