I-41 northbound was closed for several hours between Kaukauna and De Pere due to crash

A semi crashing in a construction area caused a situation that took hours to repair Wednesday morning, December 3, 2025.

At around 5:45 a.m., the semi not only got entangled in cement barriers on a bridge over Wrightstown Road, but it pushed at least one of the barriers onto Wrightstown Road below.

The northbound lanes in that area were closed until 10:30 a.m. while crews the area cleaned up and the semi removed.

A detour had been set up on Highway 55 north to County S, back east to 41.
