Serious crash on I-41 near Appleton injures six, including children.

***UPDATE 2*** Both sides of 41 are open as of 1PM

***UPDATE*** Southbound 41 appears to be re-opened going through the area as of 9 AM.

Just before 8 AM Thursday, March 7, 2024, a report of a rollover crash with multiple ejections was reported on I-41 near Lyndale Road on the northwest side of Appleton.

Responding officers reported 5 children are involved with one being an infant.

ThedaStar medical helicopter was requested to the scene and transported the adult that was ejected from the vehicle to a local trauma center. The child that was ejected, as well as four other children in the vehicle were all transported by ambulance to local hospitals.
