Brewers set to face Tampa Bay Rays in World Series

The stage is set for the World Series, and the Milwaukee Brewers now know who stands between them and their first championship in franchise history.

The Tampa Bay Rays advanced to the world series last night, defeating the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 in game six of the American League Championship Series. The victory gave Tampa Bay the American League pennant and sent the franchise to the World Series for the third time, and the first time since 2020.

Neither the Rays or Brewers have won a world series, meaning the 2026 series will crown a first-time champion.

Game one is scheduled for Friday night at American Family Field in Milwaukee, with the first pitch set for 7 p.m. Central time.
