Brownsville Fire Company shows off new (to them) equipment
The Brownsville Fire Company has introduced into service a (new to them) firetruck. A 2005 Sutphen Quint (Ladder) truck.
They say the truck is replacing both the 1988 E-One Ladder and 1987 Engine they have.
“This is a huge upgrade for the Brownsville Fire Company as we downsize our fleet and still maintain superior fire protection for our residents, businesses and guests. We have been budgeting and looking for this type of apparatus for a while. This is a VERY well maintained truck.”
The department has already had the truck out and about training with it.
Stats of the truck show it has a 110 foot ladder with bucket and a 2000 gallon per minute pump.
The department bought the truck from the Fenton Fire Department in Michigan.
