Bucket Brigade Kicks Off Salvation Army Christmas Campaign
The Salvation Army of Fond du Lac kicked off its annual Christmas kettle campaign Friday with the traditional Bucket Brigade event. Firefighters and other community members collected donations outside Fire Station 1 and the KFIZ/107.1 The Bull Studios. The event was supported by a $20,000 match from the Osborn Family. The kettle campaign runs through Christmas Eve, and all donations collected stay here to support our local Salvation Army. New this year is a spread the kindness challenge which promotes people doing good deeds.
