Chocolate Sales Help Hamilton Playground Equipment Effort
The sales of chocolate bars will aid the effort to restore the playground equipment set on fire in Fond du Lac’s Hamilton Park. Justin Graef of JaM Chocolate came up with the idea of trying to raise $1,500 to pay the City’s insurance deductible for the equipment. He says the vandalism hurts kids and families who use the park and the equipment the most. The chocolate bars are $3 a piece and are Hershey’s products. They will be available at a number of local businesses beginning this Thursday and Friday. Businesses participating in the fundraiser include; AAA Insurance, Attitude Sports, FDL Insurance Service Center, Cardinal Construction, Holiday Auto, Touch of Heaven, Personal Touch Floral, and Pomp’s Tire Service. The sale runs through June 14th. JaM Chocolates specializes in personalized candy bar wrappers and custom flavors. For more information about JaM Chocolates click here.
