City Manager Joe Moore receives outstanding performance review

City Manager Joe Moore received an outstanding performance review when the Fond du Lac City Council conducted its evaluation of his performance on Wednesday, March 25.

Each member of the Fond du Lac City Council evaluated Moore across 15 “different elements of performance and leadership” using a five-point scale, with five representing “consistently exceeds expectations.”

Across the criteria, Moore earned an average of 4.83. This is consistent with the previous ratings Moore has received during his service to the city.

In evaluation feedback, City Council noted, “The City Manager has demonstrated exceptional leadership, communication and strategic planning skills consistently guiding the community through complex challenges with professionalism and clarity.” City Council also commended Moore’s ability to build relationships and maintain organizational stability.

“I’m honored to receive such positive feedback from our City Council,” Moore said. “These results are just a snapshot of everything that our City’s employees accomplish every day to serve our community.”

Moore has served as Fond du Lac’s City Manager since 2012.
