City of Fond du Lac Police investigate shots fired

On Sunday, June 8, 2025 at approximately 2:45 a.m., the City of Fond du Lac Police Department responded to reports of multiple gunshots heard outside the Parish School Apartments (63 E. Merrill Avenue).

Upon arrival, FDLPD Officers discovered that several vehicles and residences had been damaged by gunfire. Contact was made with all the occupants of the residences and no injuries were reported. FDLPD Detectives responded to begin processing evidence, conducting interviews, and securing video surveillance.

Chief Aaron Goldstein stated, “FDLPD is fully committed to keeping our community safe.  We will not tolerate reckless and dangerous criminal behavior that puts lives at risk.  FDLPD will use every resource available to identify those responsible and ensure they are held fully accountable.”
