Communities receive over $6.5 million from Alliant Energy in 2025
Alliant Energy and its charitable foundation, along with the company’s employees and retirees, announced they’ve collectively contributed nearly $6.6 million and over 66,000 volunteer hours to various causes and nonprofits in 2025.
They say the foundation’s giving and volunteer efforts focused on four areas:
Community safety and engagement, environmental stewardship, workforce readiness, and hunger and housing.
The foundation supported more than 1,280 organizations and distributed over 700 grants in 2025. Part of that effort involved their goal of planting 1 million trees in Iowa and Wisconsin by 2030.
In the immediate area the foundation has contributed at Breakfast on the farm with a Farm Education Zone. Electric safety booths at events like the Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Departments open house event at the fairgrounds, as well as working in partnership with Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin. A program designed to get fresh, locally produced dairy into the hands of families who need it most, expanding the program this year to reach families in Fond du Lac and Sheboygan Counties.
