PHOTOS: Cop on a rooftop Friday at Dunkin Donuts

Police radio transmissions have a flurry of activity coming in on west Johnson Street Friday morning, August 14, 2026, and passerbys may see law enforcement from several jurisdictions converging on a local business there, however there is no crime in progress.

Its the 13th annual cop on a rooftop which brings law enforcement to the rooftop of Dunkin Donuts as well as helping inside for the benefit of Special Olympics of Wisconsin.

Over 70 Dunkin Donuts statewide are taking part in the event including Waupun and Oshkosh, with law enforcement hanging out at the business from 6 a.m. until noon.

The cop on a rooftop event has raised over $715,000 for Special Olympics Wisconsin since it started.
