Cops at Culvers taking place July 28 to raise money for Christmas holiday gift cards

The City of Fond du Lac Police Department has announced it will once again partner with Police Lights Of Christmas and Culver’s for what they say will be one of the largest Cops @ Culver’s events ever held.

The event takes place Tuesday, July 28, at the Culver’s located at 969 E. Johnson Street in Fond du Lac.

In addition to the Fond du Lac participation, 74 other Culvers statewide will be holding similar events with a total of 145 law enforcement agencies coming together.

Joining the police department at the Fond du Lac event will be members of the Campbellsport Police Department, and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The purpose of the event is to raise money that will be turned into gift cards that Fond du Lac Police Officers, Campbellsport Officers, and Wisconsin State Patrol Troopers carry with them while on patrol throughout the winter months. When an Officer encounters someone facing difficult circumstances, those gift cards provide an immediate way to help whether it’s purchasing a warm meal, putting gas in a vehicle, buying winter clothing, or meeting another urgent need.

At this years event will be the debut of Culver’s new Back the BLUEberry Sundae.

In addition to the Fond du Lac location, Cops at Culvers will also be taking place locally at the Waupun Culvers and two Oshkosh locations.
