County Highway K closed again this week to allow work to be finished
Work is continuing on County Highway K, east of Fond du Lac Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
The roadway was closed two weeks ago between Highway 23 and Hunter Avenue but had reopened Friday, November 21st.
Initially, the roadway was scheduled to close again through the end of this week to complete the project, but now the Department of Public Works says the roadway should be back open after only two more days to allow work to be completed.
The roadway will be open to Taycheedah Correctional Institution and St. Mary’s Springs Academy but the means of accessing these institutions will differ.
To access TCI, motorists will come in off of Highway 151 at Highway K.
And access to St Mary’s Springs will only be done via Highway 23 and County Road K.
The closure will be in place to allow for water utility repairs and pavement restoration in advance of the Fond du Lac County Highway reconstruction project scheduled for 2026.
