Division Street in downtown Fond du Lac will have lane restrictions Thursday

Motorists in downtown Fond du Lac will encounter lane restrictions on East Division Street Thursday, October 22, 2026.

The Department of Public Works says the restrictions will be in place from 8 a.m. this morning until 5 p.m. this afternoon between Main Street and Portland Street.

Traffic will remain open in both directions, but vehicles will be shifted into the eastbound lanes to make room for a crane in the westbound lane. The crane will be used for work at Hotel Retlaw.

Flaggers will be on-site as needed to help direct traffic. Motorists should slow down and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
