Domestic incident leads to stab wound in City of Fond du Lac

On Saturday, March 7, 2026, A 48-year-old Fond du Lac woman was taken into custody for her role in a disturbance which left a man with a stab wound to his arm.

At about 2:46 p.m., officers and City of Fond du Lac Fire Rescue responded to the 100 block of West 1st Street for a report of a person who had been attacked by a female with a knife.

When Officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old Fond du Lac man who had sustained a single stab wound to his arm. He was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers located the woman matching the description provided by the caller inside an apartment building. She was taken into custody without further incident.

Investigation into the incident showed the two are known to each other and had previously lived together.

The woman is currently being held at the Fond du Lac County Jail on a Probation and Parole Hold as well as new charges including Disorderly Conduct While Armed with a Dangerous Weapon, Substantial Battery and 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety all with a domestic enhancer.

No information as to what led to the disturbance was released.
