Double fatal motorcycle crash reported in Winnebago County

Two people are dead following a head-on crash involving a motorcycle and a car in Winnebago County.

The sheriff’s office says the vehicles collided along County Highway E, near Delhi Road southwest of Omro at about 3:30 Monday afternoon.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger died a short time later at an area hospital. The occupants of the car suffered minor injuries.
