Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership appoints Brittany Machleit to serve as Executive Director

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership has announced a new Executive Director for the organization.

Brittany Machleit has served as the organization’s Interim Executive Director since May first, after previously working as its Special Events Director.

The organization says she brings experience in event planning, marketing, communications and community engagement to the position. Machleit is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership Board President J.J. Raflik says Machleit has demonstrated strong energy and commitment to downtown Fond du Lac, while building relationships with businesses, partners and volunteers.

As executive director, Machleit will oversee the Partnership’s operations and strategic initiatives, including downtown business development, revitalization efforts, special events, marketing, fundraising and community partnerships.

The Partnership organizes and supports events including Fondue Fest, Wine Walks and the Downtown Fond du Lac Farmers Market.
