Sturgeon Spectacular 2023-Lakeside Park

February in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin can only mean one thing. Sturgeon Spectacular-a celebration of winter and really big fish! Always the 2nd weekend in February, check out our quirky and fun take on a winter festival featuring events in downtown Fond du Lac and at Lakeside Park on the shores of the frozen Lake Winnebago.
Enjoy activities indoors, and outdoors, and restaurant and hotel promotions throughout the community. Highlights include the traditional Running of the Sturgeon, live music and other entertainment, the state snow sculpting championship, an ice carving competition, an outdoor curling competition, a sturgeon show-off station, and so much more!
Whether you love family activities, spearing, “beering” (drink specials), or warming up near a toasty bonfire, you and your family will NOT run out of things to do at this year’s Sturgeon Spectacular. Only in Fond du Lac, February 10 – 12, 2023.
