Fatal crash being investigated in Dodge County

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal traffic crash that occurred yesterday on County Highway A near Prospect Road, about two miles east of Beaver Dam.

At about 6:20 a.m., a call came in to the Dodge County Communication Center reporting a car driving erratically, including crossing the centerline, northbound on County Highway A near Juneau. While officers were responding to the area, the caller told dispatchers that the car had struck a semi, head-on.

Upon arrival by first responders, they found the driver of the car was the only occupant and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 38-year-old driver of the semi from Burnett was not injured but evaluated and released at the scene by medical personnel.
