FDL Area Foundation Celebration Of Giving Coming Up

Tickets are available for the Fond du Lac Area Foundation’s annual “Celebration of Giving” dinner. The gala celebration will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 3rd at South Hills Golf and Country Club. It will feature the annual “Legacy” awards for outstanding philanthropic support of the community. Among the winners are Harold and Zoe Barfknecht. Foundation Executive Director Sandi Roehrig says they are quiet givers to the community. The Cops for Kids program will also be recognized. In its 38 years the Fond du Lac Area Foundation has awarded over $12 million in the form of charitable grants. About $850,000 in grants are given out each year in the form of charitable grants and scholarships.Tickets for the event are $40 each or $320 for a table of eight.
