Find free summer fun at the Fond du Lac Public Library

The Fond du Lac Public Library is reminding residents of a collection of items they have, that can be used to enhance your next group gathering or solo expedition this summer.

Party supplies, hiking essentials, kid-friendly activities, and more are offered for free through the Fond du Lac Public Library with a library membership.

Items available for an outdoor party include a bubble-maker, balloon pump, projection screen and computer projector, and a selection of outdoor games such as cornhole or giant checkers.

For those wanting to get away to nature can check out trekking poles for adults and kids, a portable light or solar lantern for camping, binoculars, a bug catching kit, and an Adventure Kit filled with a compass and more. These items can be utilized with the library’s free passes to Wisconsin State Parks.

For the adventurous person, the library has a metal detector or magnet fishing magnet which can open up a treasure hunt for the user.
