Fire damages Fond du Lac duplex Wednesday night

The Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Department made a quick stop to keep fire from spreading at a house Wednesday night, June 12, 2024.

Just before 9 PM, a call came in from a passerby that the house at 424 Grant Street was on fire. Upon arrival, fire was found on the front of the two story duplex, and was only on the exterior, along with some trees and bushes that were up against the house.

The fire department had the fire out within minutes of arrival.

The residents of the house were not home at the time and no cause of the fire has been released.
