Flight For Life called to semi vs car crash in Dodge County

A Beaver Dam woman was critically injured Thursday, January 29, 2026, in Dodge County after getting struck by a semi.

Shortly before 1 p.m., the woman was driving south on Main Street Road out of Horicon when she failed to stop at a stop sign at County Highway S.

The 46-year-old was struck by the semi which had the right of way eastbound on S.

Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies as well as Horicon and Juneau Fire Departments, and Juneau and Beaver Dam EMS responded to the crash and found the woman with life threatening injuries. The semi driver, a 63-year-old from Oshkosh, was reportedly uninjured.

Due to the extent of the woman’s injuries, Flight For Life helicopter was requested to the scene and flew the woman to Aurora Summit Hospital.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
