Fond du Lac City and County announce Government hours for 4th of July holiday
City of Fond du Lac has announced their 4th of July holiday hours as follows.
offices in the City/County Government Center will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and Friday, July 5th in observance of Independence Day.
The Municipal Service Center will be closed on July 4th & July 5th for all services. However, yard waste and brush may still be dropped off during the holiday hours.
Garbage and recycling will be collected as follows:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday customers that week will see no change to collection.
- Thursday customers garbage will be picked up on Wednesday, July 3rd – one day early.
Thursday Recycling will be picked up on Friday, July 5th. - Friday customers garbage will be picked up on Monday, July 8th.
Friday Recycling will be picked up on Saturday, July 6th.
The Senior Center will be closed on Thursday, and Friday, July 4th and 5th.
City Transit Buses will not operate on that Thursday or Friday.
and the Fond du Lac Public Library will be closed on Thursday, July 4th and open
normal business hours on Friday, July 5th.
On the County side, all county offices in the City/County Government Center, the Sheriff’s Office lobby window, Department of Human Services and the Portland Street Annex will be closed all day on Thursday, & Friday.
The Festival Foods sponsored fireworks display will take place Thursday night, July 4th in Lakeside Park at 9:30.
