Fond du Lac County crash injures at least one

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating an overnight crash that occurred in the southeast portion of the county overnight.

Just after midnight, the Fond du Lac County Communications Center received a call of the crash on County Highway V near Campbell Road.

Upon arrival, first responders found the entire road blocked by two pick-ups that crashed, both with heavy front-end damage. One of the drivers was said to be pinned in the vehicle and needed to be extricated by the Jaws of Life used by the Campbellsport Fire Department. At least one person was transported to SSM Health St Agnes Hospital by Campbellsport Ambulance.

No other details on what may have caused the crash have been released. County V was closed for the duration of the investigation of the crash.
