Fond du Lac County hunter killed in gun accident obituary released

On Monday, November 24, 2025, an obituary for Michael Kottke of Lomira was released.

Kottke was killed in a hunting accident on the opening day of the 2025 gun deer hunting season when it appears his gun accidently discharged while in his tree stand in the southern part of Fond du Lac County.

Kottke leaves behind a wife of four years and a 5-month-old son.
