Fond du Lac County law enforcement search for man who fled crash scene

Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the lookout for the driver of a vehicle that crashed last night in the southwest part of the county.

Just after 11 pm a home owner called the Fond du Lac County Communications Center advising a pick-up truck just crashed into their front yard located on County Highway E near Carter Road. Before law enforcement could arrive on scene, the driver and lone occupant fled the scene on foot.

Deputies arrived on scene and set up a perimeter, and with the use of a drone, searched for the man in a near by corn field, however they were unsuccessful in locating him.

The original caller stated the man was bloody so deputies believe the man to be injured, but unknown to what extent.
