Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputies find large amount of drugs, suspects rack up 14 charges

On December 30th around 11:30pm a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office deputy K9 handler stopped a vehicle for speeding 88mph in the posted 70mph zone. The deputy recognized indicators of possible drug activity occurring within the vehicle and four occupants were removed and searched. A large variety and quantity of illegal drugs were located on them and throughout the vehicle. These drugs included approximately 700 ecstasy pills, 74 prescription pills possessed without a prescription, 3 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, and 2 grams of marijuana. Additionally, 24 grams of fentanyl were located in two different bags. All four occupants were arrested and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail. A list of charges are as follows:

Driver: 26 year old from Wausau This suspect is currently on parole for OWI – 5th offense and possession of cocaine – repeat offender. Arrested by deputies for: OWI – 6th offense, Possession w/intent to deliver designer drugs (ecstasy), Possession w/intent to deliver Fentanyl, Possession w/intent to deliver cocaine, Possession of THC 2nd+, Possession of non-narcotic controlled substance, Possession of hallucinogenic, Probation Hold.

Passenger: 32 year old male from Wausau. This suspect is currently on probation for fleeing and eluding. Arrested by deputies for: Possession w/intent to deliver designer drugs (ecstasy), Possession of THC, Possession of non narcotic controlled substance, Possession of hallucinogenic, Probation hold

Passengers: 22 year old female from Wausau and 18 year old female from Chicago arrested by deputies for: Possession of THC, Possession of non-narcotic controlled substance, Possession of hallucinogenic.
