Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office Looking For Footage From Security And Doorbell Cameras

The Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance from residents in a certain portion of the City of Fond du Lac.

On Thursday, December 15, 2022, the department released a map asking those that may live in the map area and have a security or doorbell camera that records traffic, to offer the footage they may have from 2 specific dates:

December 6, 2022 from 4-7 PM

December 9, 2022 from 5-9 PM.

The area of the map is roughly bounded by south Park Avenue on the east, the Fond du Lac River on the west, 8th Street on the south and 2nd street to the north.

this is in reference to what the sheriff’s office is calling a serious criminal offense against a child.

The sheriff’s office isn’t releasing any other details about the matter other than that it was not a random act and the suspect knew the victim.
