Fond du Lac Family YMCA and Boys and Girls Club announce construction to start

The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is announcing they’ve officially entered the Building Phase of their capital campaign in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac.

They say over the coming months, facility users will see progress as they improve spaces, enhance safety, and expand opportunities for youth, families, and members.

Project Highlights include Updates to the Y’s entrance & lobby for a safer, smoother, and more welcoming experience.
The Boys & Girls Club kitchen, cafeteria, and lobby/entrance will have renovations done.
And The YMCA’s Wellness Center will get an expansion & new indoor walking/running track.
Construction is set to be complete in November of this year.

The YMCA says the campaign has so far raised $5.9 million of the $6 million needed for the project. Any surplus raised will go towards additional equipment and program enhancements to further strengthen the impact of the project.
