Fond du Lac leaf collection to start today

The City of Fond du Lac’s annual leaf collection starts today, Monday, October 19, 2026.

Crews will begin in the northeast part of the city and work clockwise through the southeast, southwest and northwest sections. The city expects to make at least three complete passes through Fond du Lac, weather permitting.

Residents should rake leaves into rows along the curb, but should not put leaves in the street or sidewalks. Leaves in plastic bags will not be collected.

The final collection is scheduled for December 11th. After that, leaves will need to be taken to the city’s yard waste drop-off site on Doty Street.
