Fond du Lac Noon Optimist Club Hosting Kids Basketball Skills Competition

The Fond du Lac Noon Optimist Club is seeking area youth to participate in a basketball skills competition.

The Tri-Star Basketball Competition is open to Fond du Lac County boys and girls ages eight to thirteen.

The contest is free of charge and no pre-registration is required, but a parent or guardian must attend with the child.

This year’s annual contest will be held on Saturday, March 4 at Riverside Elementary Gym. Registration is at 9:00 AM, the competition begins at 10:00 AM and
wraps up by Noon.

During the competition, youth are scored on dribbling ability, as well as passing, and shooting.

There are a total of twelve brackets with youth competing against others the same age and gender as them.

The top three finishers in each bracket are awarded trophies.

The First-Place winner in each bracket will advance to the WINUM District Tri-Star Competition on Saturday, April 1st at Saint Mary’s Spring Gymnasium in Fond du Lac.

The Noon Optimist Club will pay the entry fee for the winners to participate in the WINUM District event.
