Fond du Lac Police investigate armed robbery Saturday night

At about 9:48 PM Saturday, January 18, 2025, officers were dispatched to the R-Store gas station at 351 Fond du Lac Avenue for the report of an armed robbery.
According to the caller, a white male wearing a mask brandished a knife and demanded money. No one was injured and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. The suspect was described as wearing black shoes, gloves, a mask, and a gray Under Armor sweatshirt. The suspect left the store on foot.
Officers from the City of Fond du Lac Police and the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office responded and set up a perimeter.
A police K9 was brought in to track but was not able to come up with much.
Officers will be utilizing security camera footage and doorbell cameras in the area.
City of Fond du Lac Police Chief Aaron Goldstein stated, “We are now asking for our community’s assistance in identifying the suspect whose image was captured on surveillance cameras at the scene. We encourage anyone who recognizes the individual or has any information about the incident to contact us. Your tips can make a significant difference in holding this individual responsible for their criminal actions last night.”
According to the store’s hours listed on Google, the robbery would have occurred just minutes before the store was set to close.
