Fond du Lac Police pinning ceremony for 3 new officers upcoming

The Fond du Lac Police Department is inviting the public to attend an upcoming officer pinning ceremony.

Police Chief Aaron Goldstein will host the ceremony on Wednesday, November 18th, 2026, at 2:30 in the afternoon at the Fond du Lac Police Department.

The ceremony will recognize Officers Baylor Smith, Max Merriman and Ajay Stortz.

A pinning ceremony is a special milestone in an officer’s career, traditionally involving the presentation and placement of the officer’s badge on their uniform, often by a family member or someone who has played an important role in their life.

The department says the ceremony is open to the public, and community members are welcome to attend.
