Fond du Lac Public Library displays student art during Youth Art Month
The Fond du Lac Public Library has announced an art display featuring art created by students at Fond du Lac’s elementary schools.
This art will be the feature of the March Langdon Divers Community Gallery exhibit at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The pieces were created in honor of Youth Art Month.
Elementary art teachers from the Fond du Lac School District have chosen more than 200 pieces of student artwork to display in collaboration with the Fond du Lac Public Library at two locations:
- The Allen J. Buechel Branch, located near Festival Foods on Fond du Lac’s east side will have a display from Feb. 28 through April 6,
- And The Langdon Divers Gallery at the main branch of the Fond du Lac Public Library will have work on display from March 4 through the 31.
A public reception at the Langdon Divers Gallery will be held Wednesday, March 11 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Additionally, high school art will be on display throughout the library from Feb. 28 through March 26. These may be found throughout the first floor of the Main Library.
The Gallery is open seven days a week, whenever the Fond du Lac Public Library is open at 32 Sheboygan St.
