Fond du Lac to debut stormwater improvement project

The City of Fond du Lac will celebrate the completion of a major stormwater improvement project next week.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th, 2026, at the new Lincoln Avenue Stormwater Lift Station, located at 133 North Lincoln Avenue.

The project replaces two aging pump stations dating back to the 1950s and doubles stormwater capacity in one of the city’s most flood-prone neighborhoods.

The new station can pump up to 100-million gallons of stormwater per day.

The project was designed to blend in with the surrounding residential neighborhood, and the public is invited to attend Tuesday’s ceremony from noon until one, with tours of the facility and refreshments to follow.
