Fond du Lac Wins on Homecoming Plus Friday Scores

Fond du Lac showcased an efficient and dominant performance Friday night at Cardinal Stadium, securing a 35-13 win over Hortonville during their Homecoming game. Quarterback Eli Michalewicz started strong, connecting with Guardian Harris on the opening drive for a touchdown pass that put Fond du Lac ahead 7-0.

Hortonville responded with a 25-yard field goal on their next possession, cutting the deficit to 7-3. But Fond du Lac quickly regained control, with Michalewicz punching in a 1-yard touchdown run to extend the lead to 14-3.

Michalewicz’s dynamic playmaking continued as he broke free for a spectacular 52-yard rushing touchdown after an onside kick from Fond du Lac, electrifying the home crowd and pushing the score to 21-3. Later, Michalewicz found Harris once again for another touchdown pass, increasing Fond du Lac’s lead to 28-3.

Fond du Lac held firm throughout the game, sealing their second consecutive FVA victory. The Cardinals now set their sights on a big road matchup against Neenah next Friday night.
