Fond du Lac’s St. Francis Home seeking volunteers

Fond du Lac’s St. Francis Home is seeking volunteers to support residents, families and the community.

St. Francis Home is a 107-bed, Medicare-certified skilled nursing facility offering long-term care, memory care and rehabilitation services.

Members of all ages and abilities are invited to join the St. Francis Home volunteer team to support residents, families, and staff in a wide range of roles.

Volunteers must complete an application, interview, background check, meet vaccination requirements, and attend orientation for role-specific training.

The facility says they’re looking for volunteers who have a heart for service and enjoy spending time with older adults.

Volunteers will help with events and activities that enrich the lives of the facility’s residents.

The opportunity gives those thinking of a career in the long-term care environment, a chance to work with those in the field and gain exposure to a hospital environment.
