Fondue Fest is back!

Today, Saturday, September 12, 2026, is Fondue Fest in Downtown Fond du Lac.

Fondue Fest is the biggest event held throughout the year in downtown Fond du Lac, drawing as many as 15,000 people.

The event, which will coincide with the usual downtown farmers market, will have more than 200 art, craft, produce, and food vendors, multiple stages with live music, a petting zoo, and inflatables for the kids, eating challenges and of course cheese and chocolate fondue prepared and served by MPTC Culinary Arts Students.

This year has Fondue Brew – In partnership with Lakefront Brewery, which has a limited-edition chocolate cherry beer, tapped at noon at the Lakefront Brewery tent at Sheboygan & Main Streets.

The event takes place on Main Street in downtown Fond du Lac from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with Fondue being served starting at 10.

Main Street and parts of 1st and 2nd streets, Division and Sheboygan Streets as well as Forest Avenue were closed early Saturday morning to allow vendors to set up, and will remain closed for the duration of the event.
