Gnewuch Family FLEX Auditorium Ribbon Cutting at Children’s Museum of FDL
The Children’s Museum of Fond du Lac officially celebrated the newly enhanced Gnewuch Family FLEX Auditorium with a ribbon-cutting ceremony during its Museum Music Medley event.
Although the auditorium has been in use since 2021, the space has recently received several upgrades, including a new performance stage, theatrical curtain, improved audio and video equipment, and permanent recognition for donors who helped fund the project.
The event brought together families, community leaders, donors, and local performers for an evening of music and activities. Guests created musical instruments, toured the museum after hours, and enjoyed live performances before gathering for the dedication ceremony. The celebration wrapped up with a ribbon cutting, followed by a concert by Franki Moscato, karaoke, and opportunities for children to meet the performers.
Children’s Museum CEO Andrea Welsch says the auditorium is more than just a performance venue, calling it a place where children can build confidence, explore their creativity, and where families and the community can come together through music, learning, and celebration.
Museum leaders also thanked the Gnewuch family, along with numerous businesses, organizations, and donors whose support helped make the recent improvements possible.
The Gnewuch Family FLEX Auditorium is available to rent for schools, nonprofit organizations, businesses, youth groups, meetings, performances, and community events. The space also hosts a weekly service for CenterPoint Church.
