Highway K to close for utility repair

The Fond du Lac Department of Public Works would like to inform the motoring public of the short-term closure of County Road K between STH 23 and Hunter Avenue. The closure will be in place Tuesday, November 18th through end of day Friday, November 21 st . No work will be completed the week of November 24th, however the contractor will return to work Monday, December 1st and the road will be closed through the end of week or until the project is complete.  Access to nearby institutions will be maintained during the closure:

Taycheedah Correctional Institution: Access will remain in place via Hwy 151 and County Road K.
St. Mary’s Springs Academy: Access will remain in place via STH 23 and County Road K.

The closure will be in place to allow for water utility repairs and pavement restoration in advance of the Fond du Lac County Highway reconstruction project scheduled for 2026.
