Katie Bock Crowned 2014 Fond du Lac County Fairest Of The Fair

The 2014 Fairest of Fair was crowned during the annual competition at the Northwinds Supper Club in Eden Sunday evening. The winner is 20-year-old Katie Bock of Malone a 2012 graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy and a 2014 graduate of the UW-Fond du Lac. She will be a junior at the UW Madison this fall. She is the daughter of Loren and Lorna Bock of Malone. Katie says the Fairest selection process wasn’t that easy. She says she should be great at promoting the Fair because she spent 13 years showing animals for 4-H and also exhibited at the Recreation Center is sewing, house plants and arts and crafts. Nicole Ries of Lomira was the 1st Runner Up and Courtney McCourt of St. Cloud was 2nd Runner Up. This year’s County Fair is July 16th through the 20th at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds in Fond du Lac.
