KFIZ Christmas Parade Today! Restricted Parking On Main Street

The City of Fond du Lac Police Department is reminding everyone that parking on Main Street between Johnson Street and Western Avenue will be restricted today, Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 2 PM to 6 PM.

This is for the KFIZ Christmas Parade that will be taking place starting at 4:15 at the corner of Rees and Main Streets and traveling south to Veterans Park.

Signs will be up stating no parking and any cars that are parked on Main Street will be towed before the start of the parade.

In addition, there will be some travel restrictions on some side roads near the downtown area during this time frame.

This year’s parade theme is “HoliDazzle”!

All floats entered in the parade will have a chance at prizes for the following categories, Best and brightest, little sparkler for kids entries, and fan favorite.

The Post Office will have Santa’s helpers walking along the parade route collecting letters to Santa so kids should bring their letters in an envelope to hand over to the letter collectors during the parade.

After the parade, Santa will deliver a holiday greeting in Veterans Park and light up a Christmas tree.
