KFIZ Halloween Party shopping underway

Radio personalities from KFIZ and 107.1 The Bull made a dent in buying the gifts that will be given away this year during the KFIZ Halloween Party.

The KFIZ Annual Halloween Party and On-Air Calling Contest is a beloved community tradition in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, that has been running for over 50 years.

the event is an on-air radio broadcast designed to keep children safe by encouraging them to go straight home after trick-or-treating.

How the Event Works

The Safety Pledge: Parents register children ages 5 to 12 before the event. By signing up, the kids pledge to practice safe trick-or-treating—promising not to go alone, to stick to their own neighborhoods, and to head home as soon as the town’s official trick-or-treating hours end.

The On-Air Party: Once trick-or-treating wraps up, families tune in to KFIZ News-Talk 1450 AM / 100.7 FM. The live broadcast features spooky stories, holiday fun, and the main event: calling registered children live on the air.

Massive Prize Giveaways: During the broadcast, hosts pull names and call the registered children. If the child is home to answer the call, they win a prize.
