Laconia Softball Looks to Make Another Championship Run

After finishing as the state runner-up in the WIAA State Softball Tournament last year in Madison, the Laconia softball team is back with renewed vigor. The team recently kicked off their season with a successful trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, where they secured an impressive 3-1 record.

With a blend of seasoned players, including several All-State athletes, Laconia is poised for another strong season. Head coach Scott Ritzema shared his insights and expectations for the upcoming season in an interview with KFIZ Sports Director Chuck Freimund.
