Lakeland Care Welcomes Jill Meschke as Chief Financial Officer

FOND DU LAC, Wis. — November 2, 2026 — Lakeland Care, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Jill Meschke as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Meschke will also serve as Treasurer of Lakeland Care Plus, a subsidiary of Lakeland Care, Inc. She brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience and a strong background in supporting healthcare and mission-driven organizations.

Most recently, Meschke served as Chief Financial Officer at Brattleboro Retreat in Vermont, a behavioral health organization. Her previous experience includes CFO positions with Indiana Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center and North Central Health Care, where she also served as Interim Chief Executive Officer.

Throughout her career, Meschke has worked closely with organizational leaders to strengthen financial operations, guide strategic planning, and support informed decision-making. Her experience balancing financial stewardship with organizational priorities aligns closely with Lakeland Care’s commitment to serving its members and communities.

“Jill brings the financial expertise, thoughtful leadership, and collaborative approach we were looking for in our next CFO,” said Sara Muhlbauer, Chief Executive Officer of Lakeland Care. “Just as importantly, she understands the value of working together toward a shared mission. We are excited to welcome her to our team and look forward to the perspective she will bring to our organization.”

Meschke joins Lakeland Care following the retirement of longtime Chief Financial Officer Dan Bizub, who dedicated 17 years of service to the organization. Lakeland Care is grateful for Dan’s leadership and contributions throughout those years and looks forward to building on that foundation as Meschke steps into the role.

In her role, Meschke will provide leadership for Lakeland Care’s financial operations and work alongside executive and organizational leaders to support the organization’s long-term financial health and continued commitment to the individuals it serves. As Treasurer of Lakeland Care Plus, she will also contribute to the financial stewardship of the subsidiary.

“I am excited to join Lakeland Care and become part of an organization with such a strong commitment to its members and communities,” said Meschke. “I look forward to getting to know the team, learning more about the important work being done, and contributing to the organization’s continued success.”
