Gift Return
Policies Vary
It’s the
day shoppers dread, time to take back gifts that don’t work or may be
inappropriate. Frank Frassetto is the Division Administrator for the State’s
Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. He says if you kept
your receipts or gave out gifts with gift receipts you should be covered. He
says you should always have a paper trail in case you have to return or
exchange a gift. He says policies vary from store to store and if you made
purchases online. He also says if you bought a clearance item those policies
may also be different. He cautions to always read the fine print.

Named Coordinator For Professional Organization
Lane Holte,
Registrar at
been named the new Membership Services Coordinator for the Wisconsin
Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers. Holte had served as the Interim Membership
Services Coordinator for the organization since August, and was named official
Membership Services Coordinator in November.
Strong
Woman Class Offered
UW-Fond du
Lac Continuing Education Department and Fond du Lac County UW-Extension is
again offering a Strong Women Strength training program starting in
January. The class will be held
Monday/Wednesdays, January 25 – April 6, in Room A-216 of the UW-
It will also be on Tuesdays/Thursdays, January 26 – April 7, at Founders in the
St. Agnes Convent lower level on County Highway K from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. You MUST register ahead of time as space is
limited and there is a fee. Register by
Friday, January 15th to secure your spot. New participants are required to
obtain and sign proper paperwork. Past
participants need to update paperwork to reflect any changes in health status
