Lomira Falls in OT in Sectional Final

The Lomira Lions fell to Cambridge 58–56 in a thrilling Sectional Final on Saturday night in Verona. Trailing by 10 in the second half, Lomira mounted an impressive rally to force overtime and energize the crowd.

In the extra period, Cambridge grabbed an early lead, but the Lions continued to battle. With the score tied at 56, Cambridge converted a late bucket to go ahead. Lomira had one final look from beyond the arc at the buzzer, but the shot came up just short, bringing the Lions’ season to a heartbreaking end.
