Man in custody after shooting two people and high speed chase

A Milwaukee man is in custody after he’s suspected in the shooting of two people in Sheboygan County.

Shortly after 4 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the shooting was reported in the 400 block of Giddings Avenue.

On scene, police learned that the suspect shot two people at the address with a person on scene firing back at the man.

He then ran from the scene and carjacked a Jeep Cherokee by gunpoint before fleeing the area.

Because the suspect was known to be from Milwaukee, an attempt to locate was given to Ozaukee and Milwaukee Counties to keep an eye out for the stolen vehicle. A short time later, Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Deputies spotted the vehicle headed south on State Highway 57 which then joins I-43. Deputies there attempted to stop the driver, but he accelerated and a high speed pursuit was initiated.

With speeds reaching over 100 mph, the suspect vehicle eventually made it into Milwaukee County where deputies there picked up the chase. Approaching Good Hope Road, another deputy was able to successfully deploy stopsticks which flattened multiple tires on the vehicle. After losing a tire, the suspect then crashed into another vehicle at Silver Spring, and then attempted to run from the scene but was quickly apprehended, less than an hour from the initial shooting incident.

Both victims in the shooting were airlifted to area level one trauma centers. Their conditions are not known at this time.
