Man shot and killed in Calumet County

The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting death of a 56 year old man in their county Friday, November 21, 2025.

At 12:48 p.m. officers and rescue were dispatched to a town of Woodville residence, southwest of the village of Hilbert, for a report of a disturbance where a person was shot.

Upon arrival officers found the man unconscious. Lifesaving measures were performed but he succumbed to his injuries.

A 22-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene and booked into the Calumet County Jail on First Degree intentional homicide charges.

No other information has been released in the incident.
